The Full Story

Have you ever thrown on a T-shirt that seemed to ignite conversations wherever you went? We certainly have one like that. It's inspired by a phrase from the popular show "The Office" that reads "Assistant Regional Manager." But upon closer inspection, you'll notice the small print revealing it actually says, "Assistant to the Regional Manager." It's a reminder that words, no matter how small, hold significance. They have the power to define or prompt us to ReThink everything.
Every time one of us wears this shirt, it becomes a catalyst for numerous conversations with strangers. People gaze at it intently, their lips moving as they read the shirt, and then they break into a smile as they approach to catch the punchline. "Great shirt!" is a comment we often hear. Such a simple phrase spreads immense joy and brings people together.
One evening, while tuning into The Better Life podcast, we listened to Noah Kagen—an influential YouTuber and author of "Million Dollar Weekend"—discussing life's opportunities and changes. Following a quick social experiment, Kagen praised host Brandon Turner for shedding an old part of himself; for ReThinking a self-imposed label - one that Brandon had unquestioningly accepted.
That conversation sparked our own reflections. What does it truly mean to ReThink our labels? How can we redefine the labels we casually apply to ourselves? And is it possible to break free from the labels others impose on us? Can we halt our own cycle of negative thinking and reconsider the way we perceive ourselves?
In the midst of that discussion, the idea of Rethink Your Label was born.
Our vision is straightforward. We want our clothing to serve a purpose beyond aesthetics. We aim for our pieces to ignite conversations, prompt introspection, and cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves and each other. It's our aspiration that wearing one of our garments not only brightens your day but also encourages you and those around you to view the world through a different lens.

RYL Mission
Imagine a company, Rethink Your Label, nudging you gently but firmly, like a friend who's not afraid to ask hard questions over a cup of coffee. "Why," they ask, "do you box yourself into the labels you do? What stories have you been telling yourself about you and others?" They're not accusing, just curious. They invite you to pause, to ponder the paths your thoughts have traveled. Rethink Your Label isn't about giving you new labels but peeling away the old ones to reveal what's been hidden beneath, perhaps a fresher, kinder way of seeing yourself and the tapestry of the world around you. In this journey of reflection, we're invited not just to think but to feel our way into new understandings, to question not with the aim of dissection but with the hope of discovering the best of ourselves and others.
RYL Vision
Picture a world where you're constantly immersed in negative self-talk. Imagine inhabiting a space where you're plagued by thoughts of not being good enough, of ingratitude, of failure. Now, envision a different world—one where you challenge this negative mindset, redefine your self-perception, and embrace a new perspective, all inspired by the clothing you wear.
Join us at Rethink Your Label for a conversation that transcends surface judgments. We invite you to examine the stories you've constructed about yourself and others—not to criticize, but to foster a deeper, more compassionate understanding of identity and relationships. Together, let's explore what’s really beneath the labels.
